So I got on his computer and came up with this. I know it's not great, but at least it's something. I'm probably gonna scrap this lsoon. If you were to come back to this picture or at least the same idea, I'd say work on not using such a stark black outline on some parts, but instead work on blending it a little more to eliminate the outline, but experiment with the shading, using that to separate Link from the background instead of the outline.

I've actually been working on not using black outlines at all, The farthest I've gotten with that is one of my latest pics [link]
I don't do it often yet because I'm quite lazy xD And it takes so much more effort lol.
